Located in the downtown of Manhattan, New York City, New York, the American Airlines Theatre is a historical Italian Renaissance style theater. Specializing in featuring and showing Broadway plays, the American Airlines Theatre was built in 1918 and has been in use ever since.

The American Airlines Theatre was originally known as the Selwyn Theatre. With only 740 seats, it is an intimate venue that specializes in hosting dramatic and entertaining Broadway shows. The current production play at the American Airlines Theatre is The Cherry Orchard.

When the American Airlines Theatre opened in 1918, it was considered ahead of its time as it had many unique and special features. For example, there were showers and telephones in the dressing rooms of the theater.

With new productions on the way in the new year, the American Airlines Theatre always has entertaining shows and tickets to suit everyone!
