Philips Arena is an indoor arena located in the heart of Atlanta, Georgia. Since its very first opening day in 1999 replacing the Omni Coliseum, it has been home to everything sports to concerts and events of all kind.
Philips Arena is home to the Atlanta Hawks, of the National Basketball Association (NBA), and the Atlanta Dream, of the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA). It also served as home to the National Hockey League's Atlanta Thrashers from 1999-2011, before the team moved to Winnipeg.
